ListingPress brings property listings from almost anywhere into your WordPress site and publishes them as native listings for your theme. The free ListingKit plugin does the importing on your site; a free ListingPress account adds the AI descriptions, scheduling and marketing tools.

1. Install the free ListingKit plugin on your WordPress site (Plugins → Add New → search “ListingKit”, or upload the zip).
2. Open Property Import in wp-admin and pick where your listings come from — a file, a live feed, a CRM/portal API, or another WordPress site.
3. Confirm the field mapping (it’s filled in for you) and start the import. Listings publish as native Houzez, RealHomes or WPResidence properties, photos and all.
4. Optional: connect a free ListingPress account to unlock unique AI-rewritten descriptions, scheduled auto-sync, lead capture and brochures.

Manual importing (files, feeds, site-to-site) is free forever. AI rewriting, scheduled auto-sync and the CRM/portal APIs use a connected ListingPress account.

The plugin is the connector between your WordPress site and ListingPress. You install it once on the site where properties should appear.

1. In wp-admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for “ListingKit – AI Property Import”, install and activate it (or upload the zip we provide).
2. Open the plugin’s Settings page and click Connect a ListingPress account — a one-click, secure handshake (it creates a scoped Application Password for you; your main login is never shared).
3. Sign in or create your free ListingPress account to finish linking.
4. You’re connected — the AI, scheduling and marketing options now appear. You can disconnect any time, which revokes access.

You only connect an account for the paid/connected features. Pure manual imports work without any account.

ListingPress publishes to your site using a WordPress Application Password — a revocable key, never your main password.

1. The connect flow creates (or reuses) an Application Password scoped to publishing.
2. You can disconnect at any time from the plugin’s Settings, which immediately revokes access.
3. On a source site you only import FROM, ListingPress is always read-only — it never changes that site.

Export your listings to CSV and upload the file. The importer suggests how each column maps to a property field — you just confirm it.

1. In Property Import, choose “CSV file upload”.
2. Upload your file (up to 20 MB — split larger catalogs into several files).
3. Review the suggested column mapping. A built-in dictionary matches common English, Spanish, Portuguese and French headers; adjust anything that’s off.
4. Click Start import. Listings publish natively, in gentle background batches.

Columns that don’t match a standard field can be mapped to your theme’s custom fields, or sent to “Additional details”.

Upload an XML export, or paste a live XML feed URL so new listings keep arriving on each run.

1. In Property Import, upload your XML file OR paste the feed URL.
2. The format is auto-detected and the field mapping is filled in — confirm or tweak it.
3. Click Start import.
4. For a live feed, turn on a schedule (paid) so new and updated listings import automatically.

Kyero is auto-detected. Paste your Kyero XML feed URL and the mapping is done for you — including multilingual descriptions and features.

1. Get your Kyero feed URL from your Kyero/portal account.
2. In Property Import, paste the feed URL (the Kyero preset is recognised automatically).
3. Confirm the one-click mapping and click Start import.
4. Turn on a schedule to keep importing new Kyero listings automatically.

Kyero feeds are usually in square metres — sizes import as m². Areas from the feed become your theme’s city/area taxonomies.

The Property Finder / myCRM XML feed format (the UAE de-facto standard). Coordinates and the two-letter type/offering codes are handled for you.

1. Get your Property Finder feed URL from your CRM or PF Expert account.
2. In Property Import, paste the feed URL — the Property Finder preset is auto-detected.
3. Confirm the mapping (geopoints and RS/RR/CS/CR codes are mapped automatically) and Start import.
4. Optionally schedule it to pull new listings automatically.

Connect directly to the Property Finder Atlas API with your apiKey/apiSecret — no feed file needed. This is a connected (paid) source.

1. Make sure your ListingPress account is connected and on a paid plan.
2. In Property Import, choose Property Finder API and enter your apiKey and apiSecret (they need the listings:read scope).
3. Use Preview & map fields to check how PF’s property types/statuses map onto your existing theme terms, then adjust if needed.
4. Start the import. On a schedule, it runs a fast incremental sync between full sweeps, and assigns each listing’s Property Finder agent to a native agent on your theme.

Agent assignment (name/photo/email/phone) works on Houzez, RealHomes and WPResidence for the Property Finder API.

Connect to the Pixxi CRM Data API with your API key and pull listings automatically — no exports. Connected (paid) source.

1. Connect your ListingPress account (paid plan) if you haven’t.
2. In Property Import, choose Pixxi CRM and paste your Pixxi API key.
3. Use Preview & map fields to align Pixxi’s property types/statuses with your theme’s terms.
4. Start the import, and schedule it to keep new Pixxi listings flowing in. Mapping is fixed and handled for you.

Resales-Online is auto-detected — paste your feed link and confirm the suggested mapping.

1. Get your Resales-Online feed URL.
2. In Property Import, paste the feed link (the Resales-Online preset is recognised automatically).
3. Confirm the mapping and Start import.
4. Schedule it to keep new listings importing.

REDSP feeds (including the v4 nested schema with boolean amenity flags) are auto-detected and mapped, amenities included.

1. Get your REDSP feed URL.
2. In Property Import, paste the feed URL — REDSP v3 or v4 is detected automatically.
3. Confirm the mapping (amenity flags expand into features for you) and Start import.
4. Schedule it if you want new listings pulled in automatically.

BLM is the Rightmove-format export used by most UK estate-agency software — Reapit, Loop, Jupix, Alto and others. It’s the same feed your agency already sends to the portals, so one source covers them all. Upload the BLM file or point at its URL.

1. Ask your CRM (Reapit, Loop, Jupix, Alto…) to enable your Rightmove-format BLM feed — usually the very feed already going to Rightmove/Zoopla, so no new data setup is needed. You’ll get a downloadable .blm file or a feed URL.
2. If your CRM only delivers the BLM over FTP (Alto often does), download the .blm file and upload it — or ask for an accessible feed URL.
3. In Property Import, choose the BLM source and provide your BLM file or URL.
4. Property type and status codes vary by vendor, so confirm them in the taxonomy-mapping step, then Start import.

The field/record separators are read from the feed’s own header, so exports from any vendor parse correctly. BLM images are often filenames relative to the feed — keep the feed’s image folder reachable so photos import. Prefer a live API? Alto also offers the Vebra API (below).

Connect directly to Alto (Vebra) over the Client Feed Export API — richer than a BLM file (room-by-room details, EPC ratings and coordinates). Connected (paid) source.

1. Ask Alto (Vebra / Property Software Group) to enable your Client Feed API and give you your data feed id, username and password.
2. Connect your ListingPress account (paid plan) if you haven’t.
3. In Property Import, choose Alto (Vebra) API and enter your data feed id, API version (usually 11), username and password.
4. Use Preview & map fields to align Alto’s property types/statuses with your theme’s terms, then Start import.
5. Turn on a schedule to keep new Alto listings importing automatically.

Sale vs let is detected automatically. If you only have a BLM export from Alto (not API access), use the BLM source above instead.

Import straight from your MLS over the RESO Web API — MLS Grid, Trestle (CoreLogic), Spark or Bridge. Connected (paid) source.

1. Connect your ListingPress account (paid plan).
2. In Property Import, choose RESO (MLS) and pick your provider — it presets the base URL and auth type.
3. Enter your credentials: a Bearer token (MLS Grid/Spark/Bridge) or OAuth client id/secret + token URL (Trestle).
4. Preview & map fields, then Start import.

Live MLS access requires a data agreement with your MLS/provider — that’s between you and them; ListingPress handles the import once you have credentials.

Copy listings from one WordPress site to another — great for host moves and rebuilds. Paste the source URL; the form tells you if anything extra is needed.

1. Install the plugin on the DESTINATION site and connect your account.
2. In Property Import, choose “Another WordPress site”, paste the source site’s URL and Save.
3. Normal case: nothing else — it imports. If the source needs a login (401/403), add an Application Password from the source site. If the source hides its API (404), install the free plugin on the source and paste its read-only export key.
4. Start the import — photos, fields, taxonomies and (on Houzez) custom fields transfer natively.

Site-to-site migration publishes into Houzez (any theme → Houzez, e.g. RealHomes → Houzez, and Houzez → Houzez). To move onto a RealHomes or WPResidence site instead, export to CSV/XML and import that.

Whatever source you use, listings publish as native properties for your theme — not shortcodes or pasted HTML. The active theme is detected automatically.

1. Houzez, RealHomes and WPResidence get fully-mapped native listings: type, status, beds, baths, size, plot, price, location/map, features, energy rating and the photo gallery.
2. Any other theme gets a clean, complete standard listing page.
3. The same import lands correctly wherever you run it — no per-theme setup.

File, feed and API imports work on all three themes. Site-to-site migration publishes into Houzez only.

When a source carries an agent (currently the Property Finder API), ListingPress assigns that agent to a native agent on your theme, so the listing shows the real agent’s card — not the connecting account.

1. Contact info: choose Agent (assign the source’s agent, the default) or Author (use your connecting account).
2. Match by: Name (default) or Email — how an existing agent is matched before one is created.
3. On no match: Link (match, else create — default), Create (always new), or Skip (never auto-create).
4. Agents are created/linked natively on Houzez (agent), RealHomes (agent) and WPResidence (estate_agent), with name, photo, phone and email.

Columns that don’t match a standard field can go to your Houzez custom fields, and a site-to-site Houzez → Houzez migration carries your custom fields across.

1. In the CSV/feed mapping, map an unmatched column to a Houzez Fields Builder field, or send it to “Additional details”.
2. For Houzez → Houzez migrations, your custom fields (including multiselects) transfer automatically.

On a paid plan you can put a source on a schedule so your site stays current automatically — new listings added, changed ones updated, prices corrected.

1. Set the source up once and choose a schedule: hourly, twice a day, or daily.
2. Re-runs are smart — unchanged listings are skipped, so syncs are fast and gentle.
3. Your manual edits are respected: a listing you set to draft or edited by hand isn’t overwritten.

Scheduling and the CRM/portal APIs are paid features; manual file/feed imports are free.

When a property leaves the source feed, ListingPress can reconcile it so your site doesn’t keep showing sold/withdrawn listings.

1. Choose what happens to listings no longer in the feed: leave them, set them to Draft, or move them to Trash.
2. It only acts after a complete full sweep of the source (never on a partial or failed run), so live listings are never touched by mistake.

Imports run in small background batches so a big catalog never overwhelms your host. The importer also sizes batches automatically on slower hosts.

1. Each run processes a batch and continues until it’s finished; nothing to babysit.
2. Use Stop to halt an import — it stays stopped until you continue it.
3. On weak shared hosting, turn on Low-resource mode for smaller, gentler batches. (The importer also shrinks batch size on its own when a host is struggling.)

Portal descriptions are identical across hundreds of sites, which Google treats as duplicate content. AI rewriting turns each one into unique, SEO-friendly copy so your listings read as original.

1. Turn on “Rewrite with AI” when you set up the import.
2. The AI writes from the property’s real facts (type, beds/baths, size, features, location) and strips agency/contact spam — it won’t invent amenities.
3. Free plans include a lifetime allowance of rewrites; when it runs out, imports simply keep the original text — or top up with a credit pack. Paid plans include unlimited rewriting.

Rewriting runs on first import only, so re-syncs don’t churn your copy or spend credits again.

The original portal description is kept safe when a listing is AI-rewritten, so you can always go back or try again.

1. In the plugin’s admin tools, use Check to see which listings have a saved original.
2. Restore puts the original description back on the listing.
3. Regenerate writes a fresh AI version from the saved original (works on any connected account).

Every listing gets a public share page — ideal for yard-sign QR codes and flyers. Buyers who enquire there land in your Leads.

1. Open a listing and find the “Share Page & QR code” card.
2. Download the QR image or copy the share link.
3. Enquiries from that page appear under Leads, and you’re notified.

Generate a full marketing kit for a listing in one click: an MLS/portal description, a website property description, Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn posts, an email, and SEO keywords.

1. Create or open a listing and click Generate (Marketing Kit).
2. It writes all assets from the listing’s real facts — accurately, without inventing features.
3. Use the “Include features in the property description” checkbox to decide whether the marketing description & email weave in the amenities, or stay a clean lifestyle narrative. The MLS/portal description always lists every feature.

The MLS/portal description is the factual, feature-complete one; the property description is the creative marketing copy.
